St. John's House
St. John's House Learning & development Center is a ministry that finds joy in serving the children and families of Marcum Terrace. Join this great outreach effort and make a difference in Huntington and in the life of a child! Afterschool care, homework help, and hot meals are offered during the school year. A summer program is also provided as are Thanksgiving and Christmas meals and gift giving programs. You are needed here!
St. John's Choir
Music ministry serves our congregation by providing musical leadership and support during our 10:30 service. Singing is praying twice, and we are gifted by music minsters who pour themselves out for the benefit of our congregtation. Talk with the Music Director for details.
Worship Leaders
St. John's is blessed to have readers and chalice bearers who assist on the altar on Sundays. Training is provided for all those who help us worship in the beauty of holiness -- this is a deeply meaningful ministry. Volunteer today!
Food Pantry
Located at Trinity Episcopal Church, the Cridlin Food and Clothing Pantry is an important outreach ministry for St. John's. We support the pantry through donations of food (place donations in the basket in the lobby), and monetary contributions.
We are involved in our community.
St. John's members are actively involved, often in leadership positions, in organizations reaching out to those in need such as: Faith in Action of the River Cities, Dress for Success, Hospice, United Way of the River Cities, Highland Educational Project, Ronald McDonald House, Hospital Auxiliary Services, and Habitat for Humanity.

Gabriel Project
Gabriel Project is St. John's helping ministry for parents of infants and toddlers. We offer free diapers and formula to expecting mothers and parents with children ages newborn to 3. We offer these items on the 3rd Tuesday of each month -- to parents or legal guardians only, after a short registration process. Come to 3000 Washington Blvd the third Tuesday of the month from 8:30 until noon.
Prayer Quilt Ministry
,We maintain a prayer quilt
ministry for anyone in need of prayer whether for illness or any one of life’s difficulties. Quilts are made by volunteers and placed in the side chapel on Sunday mornings. Following communion, parishioners stop and tie a knot in the quilt while saying a prayer for the person for whom it is designated. When every knot is tied the quilt is given to the person for whom the prayers were offered. Prayer Quilt request forms are in the narthex. Meals in Love for Claire (Milc)
This ministry finds it's purpose in feeding our brothers and sisters in our church family when important life milestones are occurring; the birth or adoption of a child, illness, injury, death, divorce; any need that might be served by a warm meal and a caring heart. This ministry was founded to honor Claire Lieving :a parish member, wife, mother, and friend.

Our Altar Guild is comprised of men and women who set our Lord's table and care for the vessels, linens and other needs of our Altar and liturgy. Teams serve for one month each year. You are so welcome to become a part of this spiritual practice!
